Our Philosophy

3Tents Communities believes in the transcendent value of every human life. As such, the late years hold a particularly important role in our full flourishing. This belief, and the philosophy behind everything we do, is grounded in Christian Anthropology.

What is Christian Anthropology?

Christian anthropology means the person is made in the image of Christ and finds true fulfillment in self gift, relationships and in service. This outpouring of self is coupled with the realization that we are made for eternity but will find a slice of heaven here on earth if we live out our mission.

In general, anthropology deals with the origin, nature, and destiny of human beings.

What is it to be fully human?

  1. That we are made for mission-work and service, we have unique and rich talents to share.
  2. We need and want to build and nourish relationships in family and community.
  3. Most importantly, we are made for eternity. Our spiritual life, made up of our relationship with God and our need to inspire our intellect, imagination and will are both crucial to our happiness.

3Tents Communities will provide all three: opportunities to share talents and serve through our work in the community, inspiration and cultural activities and lectures on site on a variety of subjects and spiritual care and faith education, daily Mass, a chapel with the Blessed Sacrament available all day, regular spiritual activities including days or evenings of recollections, opportunities for spiritual direction and Confession.

Why?

We are all masterpieces in the making, God’s handiwork. We can become our best selves and flourish with the help of programs that inspire and challenge us.

“You’re never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream.”

– C.S. Lewis
