Learn More about 3Tents

When it comes to active adult living we are rewriting the script! Curious about 3Tents Communities? Browse the questions below to find answers to some frequently asked questions or contact us for more information.

Will there be skilled nursing services available?

This is an independent active adult community. We will have concierge services through Entrust Care or a similar agency for an hourly or daily rate for assistance with activities of daily living and/or skilled nursing services such as wound care, and administration of medicine. Physical and Occupational therapy will also be available through an outsourced vendor.

Will meals be available on site?

We will have a community kitchen where residents can dine through catering or third party vendors. The cost of the meals will be a separate charge from the monthly rent.

How will spiritual services be provided?

We are building next to an existing Catholic Church. We will ask a priest in a nearby parish and/or a resident priest to celebrate Mass each day. We will also invite priests to hear Confessions regularly and administer other Sacraments as needed including Anointing of the Sick, Viaticum and Extraordinary Ministry of Holy Communion to the Sick.

How will lectures and activities be provided?

3Tents Foundation, a non profit 501 © tax exempt organization exists to foster and manage regular activities for the residents of each of the 3Tents Communities. Among them are lectures on culture such as Theology, Philosophy, History, Art, Architecture, Law and Politics. Discussions, classes and exchanges on grand-parenting, family enrichment, faith formation in the Catholic Church and its doctrine will be encouraged and organized. Best practices in work and service and other topics and activities of interest chosen by staff and residents can be offered according to the needs and desires of the community.

How will 3Tents Communities provide a sense of mission and service?

We hope our residents will continue to work in their professions and we will provide space for remote work and meetings. Even if retired, we think consulting and service opportunities will help give each resident an outlet for their talents.

The Management at 3Tents Communities will encourage and solicit the residents to share their talents through classes, collaborations and community outreach. The staff of 3Tents foundation staff will aid in connecting to local universities, high school and grade schools for mentoring and lecturing engagements for the residents. The non-profit organizations will aid in connecting residents to service options such as immigrant outreach organizations, crisis pregnancy centers and family centers.

What amenities will you provide?

We will provide plenty of community space for gatherings, meetings and events including a private community kitchen. We are considering outdoor walking paths, a bocce ball court and a pool. We plan to landscape the site to fit the needs of an active community with as much opportunity for outdoor life as possible: grill and barbecue pit, outdoor gazebos, walking paths, vegetable and flower garden and small shrine for prayer to the Blessed Virgin. The adjacent church has a community kitchen, lecture space and church for 150 people.
